GUIDED HORSEBACK RIDES
Del's Triangle Three Ranch
About
For a truly unique experience,
take a horseback ride in
the snow! Let our surefooted horses guide you
through the snow-covered aspen trees in the
silence of Winter’s simple beauty. Once you
leave the corrals you will not see a sign of
civilization until your return. We've
lived in the valley for 6 generations and have
been outfitting and riding horses through the
Mt. Zirkel Wilderness area, located in the Routt
National Forest, since 1962. We recommend you
wear ski clothing for the winter rides.
Location
18 miles north of the town of
Steamboat just past historic Clark, Colorado.
A shuttle is available to transport you to the
ranch and back to town and pickup times are 9am
and 1pm at the Gondola Transit Center at the
mountain.
Directions
Head west(US 40) out of
Steamboat Springs. One mile past town, look for
a 7-11 store. Turn right (north) at the
stoplight. Follow this road (129) for roughly 18
miles along the Elk River to the town of Clark.
Turn left just past the Clark Store (that's the
whole town!) onto Road 62. This road forks
twice--always go right. Go 2 1/4 miles and look
for our corrals on the right. Park by the log
home on the left. Arrive early to sign in and
adjust your stirrups.
Closed on Sundays, Christmas Day and New Year's
Day. Rides scheduled by reservation
only. If you book early, please call to
confirm your reservations.
