Night Skiing & Snowboarding:
Sundance Resort has the majority of the front mountain open for night skiing during the winter season on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Some of the runs that are open include Top Gun, Montoya, Stampede, Maverick, and more. Also, new this year, the Terrain Park will be open on night skiing nights (conditions permitting).
Nordic Center
:
Sundance offers the rare combination of a pristine back country experience, immaculate wide groomed trails, and separate snowshoe trails. A full 15 kilometers of daily groomed trails are available for skating and classic cross country skiing.
Snowshoers can explore our terrain on 10 kilometers of dedicated trails through the woods.
The Nordic Center is a full service facility with rentals and new demo equipment available for all ages and abilities. Coaching sessions for all levels are available daily.

Lessons
Traditional Cross Country, Skating, and Snowshoeing for beginners and even competitive levels are all coached by certified professionals that really understand the blend of fun and performance skill improvement.

Private and semi-private coaching may be held at any time.
Group and learn to ski programs are run daily during the winter season at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Full Moon Cross Country Ski or Snowshoe
Cross Country Ski or Snowshoe by the light of the full moon. Plan a fun and unique date night or bring the whole family up to explore our amazing wooded trails at night. This is an unguided experience so you are free to roam the trails at your leisure. It is recommended to bring a headlamp.

Enjoy every aspect of Sundance Resorts ski and snowboard activities by learning something new while you are here. Sundance Resorts acclaimed PSIA/AASI Ski & Snowboard School has skilled and certified instructors for all ages and all levels of instruction, and are dedicated to making your stay an enjoyable one.

- Class sign-up must be completed by no later than 9:40am for morning and all day sessions and by 1:10pm for afternoon sessions

Ski and Snowboard School for Children
Our Sundance instructors are specifically trained to meet the needs of today's children. We pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable and safe experience on our mountain playground.
Snowsports Merit Badge Clinics
Scouts can earn their Snowsports Merit Badge at Sundance Resort! Choose either downhill skiing or snowboarding. Scouts will be taught by BSA trained counselors/PSIA & AASI Certified instructors. In order to earn a Snowsports Merit Badge, scouts must complete a full session of two nights on the hill with instructors.
Fly Fishing:
Cast your line in one of the Provo River’s perfect hideouts and see if you can outsmart a few Rainbow, Cutthroat, or German Brown trout. The Provo River is one of the premier blue ribbon trout fisheries in the world, and perhaps the only one situated within a stones throw of a metropolitan area.
Provo River fly fishing produces world class Rainbow and Brown trout, and plenty of them to boot. It is estimated that certain sections of this unique river contain up to 3,400 trout per square mile with the average fish measuring seventeen inches. This creates a world class experience for you, any time of the year.

Provided by Wasatch Guide Service, the most elite Utah fly fishing guide service and outfitter in Utah. These amazing Provo River Fishing Guides specialize in guided fly fishing on the Provo River, Weber River as well as other local lakes and remote streams. Your guide has taken the time to know these waters intimately and is anxious to share a day with you.
Any age or level can join us for an exciting day of fly fishing on Utah's finest waters.
Each guided fly fishing trip includes one guide to every two guests to maximize the attention you will receive. They provide all necessary fly fishing equipmnet including waders, boots, flies, and tackle, at no additional cost. Full day trips include a streamside lunch, while half day trips include beverages and snacks.
