Try something different! This relaxing walk
through the backcountry is perfect for
non-skiers and first time snowshoers. The tour
route travels off-the-beaten-path along wildlife
game trails and summer mountain biking trails.
Learn more about native plants and animals and
enjoy the peaceful quiet of the forest. Tours
include use of Redfeather snowshoes and a
one-time lift pass on Gemini Express and a
knowledgeable tour guide to lead your way.
Reservations for tours are strongly
recommended, and can be made by calling our Tour
Center at 970.726.1616. If our
staff is not available to answer, a message can
be left and you can expect a call back within 24
hours to make the reservation. If you're inside
of 24 hours, please contact us in person at the
Guest Service desk in the Balcony House at the
base of Winter Park Resort, or call
970.726.5514 x1727.
All tour guests need to arrive 15 minutes
prior to their tour in the Balcony House to
check in.
All times and availability subject to change.
Departs the Village:
10:30am daily & also 1:30pm on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday; minimum of 2 paying guests.
Other private tours are available by arrangement
in advance.

Self-Guided Snowshoe Hikes
If you're feeling adventurous and prefer to
head out on your own path, Redfeather snowshoe
rentals are available at Balcony House Guest
Services located in the Balcony House at the
base of Winter Park Resort. A self-guided trail
map and list of nearby trail routes is also
available.
